Once again, I am pleased to have a guest writer taking over for me, while I am getting a little much-needed rest. This time, my "guest" is none other than young Charlie Hockin, a fellow Dr Who fan, who's been nice enough to take the time, to write a story for the Accord fund raiser.
The next story, #77, for Saturday's blog, will be by my own pen, so to speak. I give my heartfelt thanks to Charlie and "Jack" for assisting me during this difficult week. You both have been a Godsend to me, truly. I'm so very grateful not to have been forced to suspend this blog for several days, while dealing with my illness.
And, I'd like to remind all my readers, that these stories are written in honour of the patients of Accord, and in memory of Mrs. Helen MacDonald. Accord's website can be found at: www.accord.org.uk
Still 52 percent off from my goal of 250 pounds by 29th October--it's not too late to sponsor me, with a donation of as little as 1 pound ($2).
Justgiving's site is officially endorsed by Accord, it's totally secure, and they do take debit and credit cards--and, if you live in the UK, you automatically get that tax bonus! All funds go right from Justgiving, directly to Accord--I never will see one penny of these funds...Accord's upcoming operating budget is well over 1 million pounds, so they need all the help they can get! Please consider sponsoring me, by clicking on DONATE!, on the Justgiving widget to your left. Thanks! Nancy.
