The Case of The Missing Slippers
The barefooted gentleman in pyjamas, bolted from his bedroom, yelling, “Jeeves! " A butler appeared, saying calmly,” What’s all the commotion Sir?” “My slippers--blast! They’re missing. Someone’s nicked them!”
Tapping his aquiline nose, the butler said, “Let's view this logically, sir. Where did you see them last?” The gent said, “On my feet last night.” Jeeves entered the room, whipped off the covers--and there were the slippers. “How did you know, Jeeves?” “Elementary, sir. You went to bed with them on, and lost them while moving in your sleep.” He sighed. It wasn't easy being Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle’s butler.
