Accord Hospice Story Challenge: DAY 52

All stories written in honour of the patients of Accord, and in memory of Mrs. Helen MacDonald. Visit Accord today. Let your fingers transport you there--visit Accord at: www.accord.org.uk

If today's story seems a bit rubbish, I do apologize--I fell asleep after dinner, and also this site will be down later, for routine maintenance, so I had to rush a bit with my writing, as I won't have any time on Tuesday for this. So, a lame story is born--if you have story suggestions, please leave a comment or e-mail me, thanks--suggestions always welcome.

DAY 52

STORY #52

Party of Three

There were two young women, out for a day’s shopping in London. Ashley and Margo spent the entire afternoon, going from one posh boutique to another. By lunch time, Ashley was loaded down with shopping, while Margo had only purchased a pair of comfortable shoes.

Sitting outside the pub, Ashley looked with distain at Margo’s purchase. “You didn’t spend much--and only on a pair of perfectly ordinary trainers,” She sniffed. Unperturbed, Margo merely smiled. “At least I spent my money on myself--you spent yours on someone else.” “Who would that be?” Ashley cried. “Your ego.” Margo said smugly.
