The Ghost of Jenny Lake

Two young hunters were warned by the old trapper: stay away from the natural spring near Jenny Lake. It was cursed by a medicine man, after a settler murdered an indian child there. A century later, the boys built a shanty alongside the spring.

They dwelled there peacefully: until one frosty autumn night. An eerie chanting filled the woods--suddenly, the forest was aflame--even the lake, was burning. The hunters went mad! They fled--but the flames seemed alive, and followed them--they ran until their hearts stopped. As they died, the flames vanished, and all appeared normal again.
